Maritime museum and cultural house

Messan is an exciting and versatile venue.

During the summer season, Messan houses a cosy café where visitors can enjoy lunch, coffee and something sweet.

In cultural terms the building can be used for, among other things, tourism, school groups and hobby clubs, workplaces and staff outings, evening events, musical performances, film and video screenings, art exhibitions and other activities with organizations in Vágar and elsewhere.
The building is handicap friendly, and the activities carried out in the building are wide-ranging.
