Home of Faroese chain dancing and the dance association Jómsvíkingar in Vágur

Jómsborg is the home of the Faroese chain dance association Jómsvíkingar in Vágur. Founded in 1976, the association bought a former workshop in 1986 and converted it into the dance hall known as Jómsborg.

Faroese chain dancing remains at the heart of the house, with public dance nights, children's dancing and other events held throughout the year. Visitors are welcome to join the circle when public dances are on the programme.
