A historic schoolhouse and intimate cultural venue in Leirvík

Gamli skúli was built in 1883 and has played many different roles in village life over the years. Originally a school, the building was later used for religious gatherings, scouts, music rehearsals, dancing, and concerts.

Today, the restored schoolhouse hosts exhibitions and cultural events. Its small rooms provide an intimate and atmospheric setting, particularly for smaller concerts.
